What the role entails

As a software developer at Combitech, you will help produce and deliver software together with our world-leading clients, either on-site with them or in our in-house operations. Our clients are primarily in defense and the defense industry, which means that the assignments are mainly long, stable, and technically advanced. Our projects span the entire development cycle, giving you the opportunity to explore everything from design and development to implementation and the creation of new features.

In the projects, you will closely collaborate with other developers, requirement setters, and testers. Whether you are in our in-house operations or at the client, you will encounter an agile culture where you can be creative and work with high-tech solutions.

For us, it is natural that you share your knowledge, which is why we have smaller groups where you can discuss complex solutions with colleagues with different experiences. In our work, we also have close collaboration with other Combitech colleagues across the country.

As the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.

What we are looking for

We would like you to have a degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or equivalent. You have at least 3-4 years of documented experience in programming in, for example, C/C++, Python, Open source, Linux/Embedded Linux, Zephyr, Wireless communication, Azure IoT, Wired communication (e.g., SPI, I2C, CAN).

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with software development and can adapt to the client's requirements and needs. You have a drive and interest in developing your knowledge with new tools and languages that streamline the development of software-based systems. Your understanding of the entire process and your willingness to both contribute and share your knowledge with colleagues is very important. You should be comfortable with both English and Swedish in both spoken and written form for your daily work.
